Recreational Services

Bridgewell offers a full complement of social, recreational, skill-building and athletic activities for individuals with disabilities who reside in their own homes or in a Bridgewell residence. Our programs provide regular opportunities that encourage personal expression, exercise, mastery of skills, building meaningful relationships and a chance to have some fun.

Adult Education and Recreation

The Adult Education and Recreation classes are held at various locations in the Lynn and Greater Lynn community depending on the focus of the class or event.  The program offers a variety of activities to meet the needs and preferences of all participants. A partial list of activities offered includes:

Special Olympics

Bridgewell facilitates the participation of individuals in Special Olympic activities.  The Special Olympics is an international organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Athletes have opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and develop friendships through sports training and competition.
