Bridgewell offers a full complement of social, recreational and athletic activities for individuals with disabilities who reside in their own homes or in a Bridgewell residence. Our programs provide regular opportunities that encourage personal expression, exercise, mastery of skills, building meaningful relationships and a chance to have some fun.
The Adult Education and Recreation classes are held at various locations in the Lynn and Greater Lynn community depending on the focus of the class or event. The program offers a variety of activities appropriate for various ability levels. Activities offered include:

The Special Olympics is an international organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition.
Bridgewell sponsored Olympians participate in both the summer and winter games. Participants have won gold, silver and bronze medals in track and field, bowling, basketball, and other activities.
