For more than 50 years, Bridgewell has touched the lives of thousands of people with disabilities. Their quality of life is at the core of who we are and what we do. Bridgewell provides people with disabilities with the things that so many of us take for granted – a home, food, transportation, an opportunity to work and develop life-skills, healthcare, recreation and friendships. We often have people in our care for their entire adult lives, and in some cases, we are their only family.
The majority of the individuals served by Bridgewell are funded through state and federal contracts. Each contract is based on the needs of the individual served and covers direct costs for their care, services provided, medical and living expenses, and basic facilities costs.
Funding for programs, activities and capital improvements beyond the individuals’ contracted services must be raised by Bridgewell to continue to deliver the high-quality continuum of care that we have provided for more than a half a century. State funding cuts make your generosity even more vital to our future and to the lives of individuals we serve.
When you make a tax-deductible gift to Bridgewell, you demonstrate your belief in our work and support the individuals who need your help most.
